Symptoms of this problem include (but are not limited to)...
Discounting products
Excessive rebrands
Seasonal sales (i.e., discounting)
Over advertising your products
Corporate Social Responsibility
Lack of motivation to run your streetwear brand; to do the things you used to love
Sound familiar?
Each symptom is a way in which one combats the problem - your streetwear brand isn't where you'd like it to be.
And if none of the symptoms listed resonate with you, I urge you to stop reading, because I'm about to share with you a better way.
Here's the thing...
However you look at it, these symptoms point to a core issue...
You target the 80% of customers who only contribute 20% of your income.
At its core, you target the one-time buyers, not the loyal customers.
If loyal customers (the 20%) contribute to 80% of your wealth, why wouldn't you focus your attention there.
That way, you may not feel so compelled to put those t-shirts that won't sell on Christmas discount for the third time.
Truly,
Elijah
