When the going gets tough,
make it fun.
Let me tell you a story:
For the longest time I've had a whiteboard hung on wall.
It had drawings all over it, some that remained untouched for as long as three years.
And if you've ever left your drawings on a whiteboard for long enough, you'd know the challenge it is to rub off.
For weeks I looked at the board thinking I should clean it to use again, but understanding the challenge that awaited, I procrastinated.
Until I decided, enough was enough. I got the window cleaner and a sturdy towel, and I got to scrubbing.
For 30 minutes straight I stubbed. My arms burnt with exhaustion. But in the end, never had I ever seen the whiteboard so white.
As I began to write on it again, my ideas flowed in a way they hadn't before. I was able to connect parts of my brain. Content ideation become a novelty. In fact, ideation became fun.
See if this helps:
Daily anything eventually gets monotonous.
ESPECIALLY content creation.
Maybe you just need to change up the rhythm.
Here to help,
Elijah
P.S. Changing the rhythm can look like a different time, a different place, or like me, a different way. Don't let the difficulty of getting started (or keeping going) be the reason you don't make the content for your brand that truly must make.
