Yesterday I sent an email experimenting with ChatGPT for content ideas for a hypothetical streetwear brand about exploring the outdoors. Today, the AI experiments continue!
Prompt: You are a streetwear brand that wants to grow a community around the ideology of exploring the outdoors. Name 5 activity-based ways the community could move off of Instagram and into the real world.
My key takeaways:
These ideas aren't too bad!
In fact, some of these already exist quite successfully.
I see how a trail running club (No. 2) could be an outdoor brand's version of the run club.
The geocaching challenge (No. 5) could combine gathering community around an event with giving away garments.
My point is this:
Moving your audience off of Instagram and into the real world is an important part of building a community.
A real world connection is much stronger than online!
It's more likely to stick.
It's more likely to motivate action.
And you're more likely to be prefered.
So let's be honest...
There is no excuse not to when there tools on access like ChatGPT.
See if this helps:
Simply take the prompt for yourself and replace "exploring the outdoors" with your own brand's ideology, culture, or lifestyle.
See what it gives you, then take step one to making it happen.
And if this experiment sparks an idea for an AI experiment of your own, hit reply and share!
I'd love to compile and reflect upon the responses in a future email :)
Truly,
Elijah
