Every now and then I like to remind my audience of an invaluable resource for streetwear brands when creating content for Instagram.
Since the last time, there have been many new faces around here, so I think the time has come once again!
Here it comes:
Vimeo Branded Content is a section of the Vimeo website entirely devoted to the marketing content of various companies.
The best part?
90% of the content posted there has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with their products.
All of it is brand-focused videos.
All of it is the very community building material that all streetwear brands who want superfans should be posting.
Here are my 3 favourites at the moment:
Sephora - Selling the idea of Beauty
Lufthansa - Selling the idea of Saying "Yes"
Volvo - Selling the idea of Sustainability
And a fun little game you can play, if you like, is guessing which brand made the video.
Brands that are consistent enough in selling their lifestyle over their product are clear.
Like Nike, who has consistently sold "Just Do It" for the last 37 years without rest.
It's clear it's them in the first few seconds.
