That's why the 5:1 content ratio works.
That is for every six posts: give, give, give, give, give, take.
Or maybe the take is more like an ask, in this case.
Here's the thing:
When you post about your clothing product
and nothing but your clothing product,
your page starts to look a little more like 'take take take'.
And you're customers see right through it.
Even before customers... Your prospect followers - the strangers who check out your page before following - see right through it.
My point is this:
I'm not trying to suggest your goal is to take your followers and scrape their bank accounts for all they're worth.
Rather the opposite!
I know you AREN'T doing that!
But sometimes, even without intending to be sleazy, we can appear to some as so.
Those who have mastered the art of giving tend to receive the most anyway.
