Would you be surprised if I told you that short-form video has peaked just as quickly as the videos themselves?
It's the very nature of the format.
People are craving longer pieces of content with more substance than before.
And it didn't take us too long at all to realise it's better for consumption anyway.
Social media platforms are pushing longer-forms of content.
It was only a matter of time before TikTok introduced the new 10-minute limit on their platform.
And I won't be surprised when 10-minutes becomes 30.
With Netflix, episodes are now 40-minutes to an hour instead of the traditional half-hour.
Here's the thing:
Our attention spans aren't getting shorter, contrary to what many will say.
Only, our standard of entertainment is getting higher.
But how does this relate to streetwear?...
As a social media streetwear brand, content creation is the GAME.
I don't need to say too much more...
Start creating long-form content now
or become irrelevant very quickly.
It's best to make the switch
before the curve swings.
