And it's for this reason that....
We cry at something sad.
We share something we are passionate about.
We support something we are proud of.
The common string here is that sad, passionate, and proud are all considered feelings.
On the contrary, something that lacks any 'feel' doesn't promote any action at all.
Physical objects without greater meaning or reason.
Products that belong to corporate entities.
A slightly above average t-shirt design.
In other words, if we cannot connect emotionally with it, we aren't promoted to do anything.
My point is this:
If your brand is only defined by numbers and fabrics,
it lacks the feel that prompts an audience to take action
through sharing it with someone else
or entering their credit card details at check out.
