That's Newton's Third Law.
And I believe this law is also true for YOUR attitude towards social media.
Here's the thing:
If you give, your audience will feel obligated to give back.
It's a 'return the favour' situation without the stickiness of it all.
It like when someone asks you, "How was your day", then you feel the obligation to ask them back.
It's not that you particularly care to hear about their day. It's the socially polite thing to do.
Or when someone unexpected buys you a present on your birthday, you feel the need to gift them back.
for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
In the same way, when a giver gives, the receiver feels obligated to give back.
See if this helps:
Today, when you dedicate your time to making the content you usually make,
focus on giving, not asking.
Do this for long enough and you may just find...
By the time your next drop comes about,
your audience is ready and waiting to give back.
Here to help,
Elijah
