If you can't do it brave, do it scared

• Doing the scary thing you know you must do
• Returning to your day job

Let me tell you a story:

The other day I was coaching a brand owner in my program. Let's call her "Jane".

Jane and I came to the conclusion that in order to share her brand's message with the world in a way that reaches the people she wants to reach, she'd have to do something scary.

That scary thing was to make video content IN PUBLIC.

Although Jane likes speaking to people, but this is far outside of her comfort zone.

Here's the thing:

Nearly 100% of Jane's customers come from Instagram.

That means the size and quality of her audience dictates the future of the brand.

So I helped put things into perspective...

"Jane, what scares you more? Making the content you know you need to create, or returning to your 9-5".

Being a deeply passionate streetwear entrepreneur, Jane of course expressed how she hated the idea of keeping her job indefinitely.

My point is this:

If you can't do it brave

then do it scared.

But just do it.
