Some customers buy for their needs.
"I need a new jumper"
However, once that need is fulfilled,
They have no reason to stay.
Other customers are motivated by identity.
"What might I express to the world when they wear this brand?"
Here's the thing:
Marketing a clothing product first and foremost is marketing to customers with a need.
This is no problem
As long as they always have a need for you to fulfil
So let's hope the season changes soon enough for a new winter drop.
See if this helps:
Consider the place where customers first experience your brand - how you get 'em.
This is probably your Instagram page (but not always the case).
Make your overarching IDEA (i.e. ethos) the first thing new prospects see.
It's not that the clothing specs are bad
Even loyal customers need to know specs
But maybe save the specs for the website.
Because how you get them is how you keep them.
Truly,
Elijah
