How To Make More Money (without more customers)

There are only two ways to make more money in your streetwear brand:

1. Increase the number of customers
2. Increase the value of customers

If you aren't making enough money to quit your day job yet, your task is to figure out how to increase one (or both) of those things.

Here's the thing:

We often focus on increasing followers and, thus, increasing customers.

But we overlook increasing customer value.

So here are the two ways to increase customer value:

1. Increase the number of products they buy
2. Increase the value of the products they buy

.... or both!

Chances are you aren't doing at least one of these things.

Here it is plain and simple....

How to increase the number of products they buy:

• Work on customer retention
• If you can simply keep them interested for longer, the statistical likelihood of them buying two or more times is higher
• Keep content fresh and evolving. Not just drop after drop after drop.

How to increase the value of the products they buy:

• Sell something beyond the garments material and design value
• For example, an intangible idea, symbol of status, or community.

In theory...

If you were to create content that reaches strangers and grows your own audience, improve customer retention by creating content that is engaging and dynamic, and increase the value of your products by selling an intangible....

...you could be making double or triple what you are right now.

It sounds to me like quitting your day job isn't too far away after all.
