Generic influencer partnerships don't work

Who would you rather have promote your clothing?

A more popular but topic non-specific influencer.

OR

A niche-specific influencer with half the following.

Here's the thing:

2 x 0 is still zero.

That's to say that if a non-specific influencer wearing your clothing brings no meaningful long-term results,

a follower count isn't going to change that.

On the contrary...

A niche specific influencer could make ripples.

It only takes a few loyal additions to make an influencer marketing effort worth it.

My point is this:

If you can simply define what your community is about

and who it's for

you may be able to save some money

on the influencer with a few less followers

That will ultimately bring higher value customers anyway.

Truly,

Elijah
