Expanding Perspective of Community Clubs

A run club isn't the only option.

Sometimes it feels like every streetwear brand has a run club.

I believe it's one of those things that many do because they see others doing it without putting much thought into it.

But here the thing:

Your brand's community building activity doesn't have to be a run club!

Maybe you've shut yourself off to the idea of doing it at all becuause a run club doesn't fit what your doing. And you're probably right! It doesn't.

So let me show you what Pyra's doing:

Their Big Idea is inspiring movement in the elements

It's Pyra's one-liner that motivates every output from content creation to their clothing product.

....or in this case, their real-world community activity.

Instead of a run club, Pyra has created a Hike Club!

On a saturday, a group of them meet and they walk an outdoor trail.

They've used their Big Idea to create something unique and on brand

AND the best part is that community activities done well promote customer loyalty.

Those that show up for Hike Club are more connected in Pyra's community. Customers who are connected in community stick around for longer, are willing to pay more and more times.

In other other words, regular customers convert to superfan customers through Pyra's Hike Club.

So take 30 seconds to:

Respond to this email answering the question...

If your community gathered in the same place, what would they be doing?

On the other side of your answer lies a real-world community building activity that'll turn your social media followers into superfan customers.

I read every email :)
