Where each one is a valued individual of a greater community.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Where the people really were before profits. And the profits followed like a storm.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Where each clothing piece is a vessel by which members may show their alliance to a community.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Where they pay a lot... And get more than they paid for.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Because they show up on drop day and wait in line like it's really something. And it is something!
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Where they buy the idea, not the clothing.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Because they stick around. This year. Next year. Drop to drop. And there they are.
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Because they tell all their friends about you and your movement like it's their own (it is their own).
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Because they're empowered to unite with other like-minded individuals to make positive change in the world. Who knew a brand could do so much?
What if they were called members? Not customers.
Because at the end of the day
anyone can see from a galactic light year away
that running a streetwear brand
is better with community
than without.
(In more ways than one).
Truly,
Elijah
