Corporate Social Responsibility

Do you give to charity because you care, or because it makes your brand look good?

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is when a company does something for the greater good (in public).

We see it all the time. Take Cotton On, for example, who say that they are "creating a world where everyone can thrive".

Isn't this ironic while they leave a sizable hole in the ozone layer, mass manufacturing inexpensive clothing and hiring underpaid workers?

Something doesn't add up.. It's almost as if the company's foundation is... Only. For. Publicity?

Here's the thing:

We are playing an infinite game - there are no clear winners or losers.

However, the ones who will be successful in the long-run are those who adopt infinite mindsets.

...Those who realise that business is, at its core, about creating positive change bigger than one's self. For the 'greater good' if you will.

Don't simply create a brand that appears charitable.

If you want customer loyalty...

Create a brand worth being loyal to.

Truly,
Elijah

P.S. It's my life's mission to, not only cultivate customer loyalty, but to create brands worthy of customer loyalty. And I care to gather those who also want to create brands worthy of their customer's loyalty. If this is something that inspires you too, hit reply and introduce yourself - I love making new friends :)
