I very rarely see viral ads that are 100% focused on the product.
In fact, I can't say that I've ever seen a viral ad of this description.
Because here's the truth...
Ads are skippable.
On YouTube, viewers count down the seconds to get back to the content they came for.
But here's an idea:
What if the ads WERE the content they came for.
Think about it like this...
By simply choosing a niche audience
and giving them the content that they already watch and you love to make,
you give your clothing intangible meaning that customers can identify with
and create the perfect opportunity to make ads that don't look like ads.
For example:
NIKE's Instagram page is filled with athlete stories and motivational quotes.
In other words, the content aspiring athletes ALREADY consume.
And at the end of the day, all eyes lead to NIKE.
My point is this:
By creating content that isn't directly to do with your clothing product,
you increase the odds of virality
and more importantly,
create something that your niche audience actually wants to see.
